“The land spoke and was heard last Saturday at the Kaweah Land and Arts Festival’s Field Day event at the Kaweah Oaks Preserve. I predicted as much, so I was glad to be confirmed. My job now is to give you a taste of what I meant.

This is the color you get with lichens in alcohol,’ explained Linda Hayden, the saddle blanket weaver, stirring wool yarn immersed in dark solution in an old galvanized bucket….”
